Hello! My name is Sweety, although some people like to call me by my other name Aaron Tappen.
I am a tattooer and designer living and working in South Orange, NJ.
I grew up in the wilds of Northern California and moved to NYC in the mid 90s After graduating from the School of Visual Arts and working for the likes of Blue Man Group and DC Comics I came to the realization that making tattoos is what I really wanted to do. That dream became a reality in 2006 and I spent the next 18 years working in shops in New York City. In 2023 I opened Keepsake Studios with my partner Zoe Bean, a private tattoo studio in South Orange, NJ.
For the last 10 years I have also been working as a freelance designer, working on brand and packaging designs,. Recently I have started exploring UI Design and have recently completed a Certification course in UI Design through CareerFoundry.
